The photos in the book or not formatted properly and were blurry and distorted. Content is nothing you can't find on the Internet for free.Very disappointed and not worth the money.

Not sure what I expected but maybe not this. I really wasn't looking for a crash course on polymer clay food etc so maybe that affects my opinion. Some small items of interest but not what I was really interested in.

This book was interesting to read, held my attention from start to finish. However, needs better editorializing. Many errors of typographical nature found. Could use better proofreading.But overall, taught me a lot about miniatures, may use these lessons to make something of my own, as I've always enjoyed finding something surprising when opening a box, book, or small container. Right up my alley!!

I'm more interested in caning and big projects, so I'm glad this was a kindle unlimited and I got to read it for fee as non of the projects were for me. It all depends on your taste. I'm sure she is a great artist and teacher. It just wasn't for me

Great book, and it arrived ahead of schedule!

Very good book. It covers the ins and outs. But it's the tip of the iceberg. I could add: Your immune system is the problem. Candida is an effect of something else, not a cause. They key lies in your Adrenals. If they are damaged, there goes your immune system's ability to fight Candida. Candida is like a cold. It's not really an illness in itself, rather, a way in which your body warns you to slow down. Your body warns you by stages. Candida could be considered stage 2. Don't let yourself get so immuno-compromized that you get to stage 3 (because it could be Crohn's or Cancer).A lot of people think they go on this diet for a year or two, and then all is well and we can dive right back into the world of McDonald's, ice-cream and booze. It's like a cocaine addict saying "I'll get clean for a year or two." The fact is: Your body didn't like the ice-cream, fast food and boooze because it was NEVER MEANT to have it. If your car needs 93 octane and you give it 80 it will work at first, then it will start to knock, and eventually you'll damage it. And if you give it 100 octane, you'll burn it. Same goes for your body, pal. If you can no longer tolerate Candida (plain old yeast), it means that YOU NEVER WILL AGAIN (and you never really did, so it was just a matter of time before something went wrong). Like others I was duped into being this on false advertising. It is not harry Potter, not even close. It is written for a very young audience. I would have liked this in sixth grade. The characters and never developed. The story doesn't have a complex quest or overarching good vs evil. There is just young innocents and evil. I would not have minded much as I can read anything with magic or fantasy. But to be tricked into buying this perhaps even lied to is an insult. This is no Game of Thrones, Lord of the Rings, insert your favorite fantasy here. This is more like the hardy boys find a bad school or the diary of a wimpy kid sees a scary clown. Want an intro to fantasy, read the Hobbit.

This book was a bit slower to get through as there was more back story to the characters and glimpses into their past. I was frustrated with all the different Pov as I would read a chapter from Harley's point pv view and the next chapter was someone else. I felt disconnected and this style of writing does not work for me. I found myself skimming the chapter to get back to Harley. This tugged at my heart strings, made me vibrate with adrenaline, and bite my nails with anticipation. You won't be able to stop from the moment you start the first page! I had to keep checking the status of pages read to make sure I wasn't about to hit the end. Thankfully it kept going when I feared terribly painful cliffhangers. I'm so excited we don't have long to wait for the next!!!

The story concept & story is intriguing enough that I put up with this garbage writing for 3.5 books. If your looking for paperback novel quality without even a steamy make-out session as pay off, by all means, be my guest.For more stars, the author needs to expand her vocabulary, pay much closer attention to time, and mind character details better. I feel like she needed about 4 more edits to have a quality story.

Harley & her associates continue with their bad language, impulsive behavior, stupid actions that somehow manage to come more or less right in the end. Not sure this book, or others in the series, are a good example for young people. Harley regularly flouts authority and "gets away with it", never really being punished. That said, it is fun to read how the clues get put together and will be interesting to see how the story finally ends .... if it ever does.

Bella Forest delivers, again, a tightly woven suspense filled mystery. The world she sends us to smells, feels, sounds and looks, mostly, like our world. The magical world is well thought out, fun and interesting. I enjoyed the first book. I loved the second one and I can’t wait for the next one. The rag team is one I hope to read about again and again.

I am in love with this series!!! First book done in a weekend, this one done in a little less than 24 hours (I forced myself to sleep and work). I wish I could make them last longer but I just can't stop reading. I can't wait for the next one to come out and hope we get many more stories with Harley and Wade and the "rag team"!! 💖💖💖💖

I love how Harley is coming into her own and fitting in with her magical group. Her and Wade.... Im waiting for more heat, tha same goes for Tatyana and Dylan. It seems like even Santana might have a budding interest in Raffe? Time will tell.

I love to pick up this "reverse dictionary" and just browse it, something that I do frequently since it sits within reach, at my desk. It is without any doubt a rich and fabulous source of general knowledge, of trivia and of words. If you are at a temporaty loss about whether it is the "stamen" or the "stigma" of a flower, you might resolve your confusion with this book. I say you "might" advisedly, because the book is infuriating in its lack of correspondence between its list of words and those found in many of the lush and wonderful illustrations it contains. If you look up stigma, you will find no entry by that name; if you try "stamen" you will find only "stamens" with a cryptic "of a flower ANDROECIUM." Of course, there is no entry for "androecium." But if you persist and have the instinct of a dowser you will, sooner or later, come across a picture of a flower, in full color, with all of its parts neatly labeled, including the stamen and the stigma.This is a tricky book, capable of giving you fits. It rates only three stars because its riches are very difficult to get to, so that it is an impractical book from which to extract specific information when you need it. I recently tried to remember "alb," and I approached it by looking at vestment, priest, miter, even Pope, but I could find nothing until (by chance) I found a picture of "Papal Vestments." In these days of computer ease there is no reason why the book should not contain a list including every single word that appears in the book and the page on which it is found. It is disgraceful that this one does not. But...did I tell you that I love this book?

Great tennis instruction book. Covers many areas of tennis that are not normally all found in one book. The tactical and emotional sides are very well done with helpful information. The author has obviously coached at a very high level. This is the kind of book you will want to read cover to cover or just open it up anywhere and you will find it to be a good read if you are a serious tennis player. Championship Tennis is a super tennis resource book to have on hand. I'm sure I will revisit it often and even take notes from it from time to time. I have read a lot of tennis books and this one is unusual in it's quality. I highly recommend it. Definitely worth its price.

My 10 and 11 year old are starting to play tennis competitively and I bought this book as a way to supplement what they were getting outside of their regular practices. My wife who is a former collegiate player is constantly sharing information from this book with our girls regarding various aspects of their games. If you are serious about improving your game, take a look at this book.

Frank's wisdom and insight into the game of tennis are akin to theorems in geometry: vital and necessary to a problem's solution. The clarity and ease with which he guides the parent/player through the necessary steps to achieving high-level tennis makes implementation a breeze. He really gives a thorough picture of the commitment it takes to get to those high-level goals and the specifics along the way. Frank has put in the time to share in this wonderful book his many years of wisdom about competitive tennis. I want to preface this by saying I’m not a business or financial expert by any stretch of the imagination.I have worked for 20 years at a small business and seen pretty much every side of that business. I also work at a university with an entrepreneurial major that is incredibly popular. I can certainly see the appeal of owning your own business.Generally my rule in dealing with almost anything is if it sounds too good to be true then it probably is. This book promises to teach you how to buy a business, put a year into it building it up, and then withdraw to work 5-10 hours per week while making $100,000 or more per year.To me it really sounds too good to be true.As I said I do work for a university so I am a big proponent of higher education. The author proudly states several times that he took no classes beyond high school which does not necessarily fill me with confidence. I would also say that the author, who is a business broker, strongly pushes the idea that anyone buying a business needs a broker. In fact that is the very first thing the author suggests in the chapter about additional resources. My other criticism is that it does seem to contradict itself in a few places, such as the suggestion that you must be deeply invested and interested in the business and also more than willing to give it up if it is not profitable.That said I don’t think it would hurt anyone that is considering investing in a business to read this book. There is a wealth of advice in this book, especially in looking at financials and choosing the correct business. Since I’m not an expert I’m not qualified to tell you how useful this information is, but at a glance it seemed useful to me.Since they offer the promise of working only five hours per week as a business owner the book also gives advice on hiring a manager to handle the day-to-day work after a year or more building the business.So if you have large amount of money to invest (something else the author strongly encourages) and are looking to buy a business I think this book could have some good advice for you. I’m a little skeptical that it will have you working ten hours per week and making $200,000/year.

This book is very similar to Robert Kiyosaki's style of writing. If you liked Robert Kiyosaki's book "The Business of the 21st Century" which details network marketing and how this is the business of the future. In that book he outlines how network marketing can change your life and why it is the best type of business in the world. However, the one thing he doesn't do that this book does do is give you a bit more insight as to how to execute. Now I'm not going to say this is the Holy Grail as to how to live your life, make money and then create wealthy, and it isn't by far an overnight process, (Anyone that tells you that is selling you a lie, or delusional) however, this book will point you in the right direction and help you establish the mental framework around which you should be using to get to the life that you want.

As a small business owner, I found this book quite informative and helpful. I had never heard of a lifestyle business owner before, but the concepts make total sense. Running the business rather than letting it run you is important in my mind because why would anyone want to go from working a normal 40 hour a week job to an 80 hour a week job for less pay.I was skeptical at first about the author’s advice to buy an existing business especially since I felt that it would be hard to find a company that could fit one’s ideal preferences. However, he convinced me of the soundness of that advice. I hadn’t really thought about how much time, effort, and money is spent just getting the business off the ground. Why go through all that hassle if other opportunities are available to fulfill your plans?!I enjoyed the fact that the author provided specific examples to reinforce his points and I found this book a great read. I will definitely be referring back to this book as I grow my business and look for other opportunities to expand.

This has useful advice for anyone looking to start their own company, or turn their side hustle into a sustaining company. I’m not sure that the opening chapters goals of a $100,000 annual income for 5 hours of work per week is likely, but he does accurately point out that work for someone else will never get to that level, so why not try? And this book has a lot of helpful information for anyone looking to try. With detailed profit & loss charts and clear examples, this is an educational book for all small business owners. Not every chapter will be applicable to every business, of course, but information about successful marketing and successful teambuilding can help all businesses and bosses.The goal in this book is to build a successful business and then step back from it, letting your smart decisions and early hard work pay off over a long time, instead of working forty or more hours to keep the business going. That’s the goal of the lifestyle business owner.

In this day and age it is hard for any millennial to move out and live on their own with this rough economy. However, if you have an entrepreneurial spirit and are dedicated and determined to make your business prosper I certainly recommend reading this book. Aaron Muller offers beyond practical advice for any business owner whether its a start up company or long time owned and franchised company to help make it prosper. I especially appreciated the advice provided in chapter 6 entitled getting into the right line of business and chapter 8 entitled increasing revenues through smart marketing. Also the link for the free bonus business training videos attached at the end of the book were very informative and helpful with my independent business ventures. Overall, if you are just starting out with your business or currently struggling financially this book will help change your viewpoint and thinking. Highly recommend.

The books of Virginia Euwer Wolff's trilogy (Make Lemonade, True Believer, and This Full House) follow LaVaughn through her teen years. LaVaughn, whose father has died before the first book opens, faces challenges of poverty and being raised by a single mom. All around her many people are falling prey to bad schools, teenage pregnancy, and many other dangers awaiting inner city (and these days probably many) kids. Her single mom supports her but, of course, has some challenges of her own. Her friends help her, too, at times, but sometimes they need more and demand more than she has to give.I found myself wanting to read just one more chapter, then just one more chapter, before I put the book down. The characters, situations, and writing are engrossing.Each of the first two books can be read and enjoyed by itself. The conclusion of the trilogy, This Full House, however, is packed with surprises and will be enjoyed more if read after the first two. Without revealing too much, know that characters and situations from the first two books come back and are shown to be connected in ways I certainly never foresaw.LaVaughn's actions are true to the character and her age. Sometimes she means well but messes things up so thoroughly, there seems no reason for hope, but LaVaughn is not someone to sit quietly or give up, even if she has to pause, has to reflect, has to figure out what, if anything, her next step might be.This book and the first two in the trilogy are worth your time. The characters are interesting and human -- not superhuman achievers or less than human failures. You will find parts funny (such as the "Cross your legs for Jesus" chastity group), poignant (such as LaVaughn being so smitten with a beautiful boy she can scarcely breathe and think in his presence), and inspiring (such as her dedication to getting an education, despite the poverty and hardships around her). These books, written as a journal by LaVaughn, are quite an accomplishment.

This was a replacement book for my son's 7th grade teacher's in class library. The original was borrowed and never returned. It seems to be a popular book.

Thorough, for what it was. Out of several books I bought for research, I refer to this one most often. However, there are more comprehensive lists. I didn't see a lot of original ideas here. It might be useful to some people, but not to me.

Lots of information, well organized. A bit of a gloss on the education, tutoring side, as most states do want teach credentials as well, not as easy as it seems to imply. I have 4 degrees and 30 yrs in prof. field - no responses.

While skimming several books to help me figure out what I want to do "when I grow up" I ran across this book. It is a good book to turn to for some ideas- there are websites included for the reader to peruse. I like the easy to read and follow advice and Collamer gives several suggestions under each career field or area to think about. For example, if you were a teacher as I was, she gives suggestions in the online arena as well as local colleges, non profits, consulting and corporate training. This book didn't provide any 'a-ha!' moments but it did provide me with some tools to begin my research.

The book was ok, but did not go in depth on any of the careers or jobs she talked about

Thanks Nancy for writing this book. I read this book and it really made me think of a lot of things, that I never would have thought about. I changed my career several times when reading the book. I have selected a new career, one that suits my life style when I semi-retire.
