There are a lot of recipes in the book. I think my 2nd favorite was lasagna which came out really good. My favorite was the chicken Bryan which I used to order a lot inside the restaurant. My family thought it tasted like the restaurant. So that was great to hear.I think the chicken Bryan is the most complicated because you have the seasoning then you have to grill some chicken you've got the I think a lemon butter sauce which, if you're not careful, can separate. Well worth it if you have the patience.I have read some complaints where some of the recipes are not exactly the same as what the restaurant uses. And perhaps the copycat recipes floating around the internet might be a better representation. all I can say is that for the chicken Bryan recipe, it tasted pretty darn near the dish that the restaurant serves.I would recommend this book because it's not that expensive and at a minimum, it can serve as an excellent reference. Even if you have to tweak the recipes somewhat. I think it gives you a better starting point than the copycat recipes.I have not tweaked anything. But naturally, salt and pepper to taste is an important item for any cook.

Had all of my favorite recipes from Carrabbas but they have been modified slightly because they are not exactly like in the restaurant. For example the Alfredo recipe says to make it with milk and no cheese. They tell you in the book it's not the signature sauce they make at the restaurant but instead a replica. In the restaurant they use no milk and add Romano cheese (I talked to the manager about it). However everything else makes really delicious meals. I am excited to try many of them. I spent the time to make the pasta weesie the other night and it was really good and very close to the restaurants but they do make it better. While I am super happy to have all the great recipes I found out quickly with the cost of the quality ingredients and the amount of time it takes for preparation to make these meals you would really just be cheaper and better off enjoying it at the restaurant lol. It's fun to use for a super fancy meal for a night for you and your hubby if you are wanting to impress them though! Definitely one of the best cookbooks I have ever bought!

I purchased this cookbook several years ago and just dug it out. I was so excited to finally make my own Carabba’s Mama Mandola’s Sicilian chicken soup. I followed the recipe exactly and out came a bland soup that did not taste like the soup I have had in the restaurant. I thought as I was making it that I did not have any green peppers in my soup at the restaurant. If that is the case why does the cookbook recipe have green peppers? I also thought why are the only seasonings in the recipe salt and pepper? The soup at the restaurant had a spicy taste. Some people suggested the green peppers give the soup the spicy taste, but they only made the soup taste hot, not spicy.This is not the same recipe as at the restaurant. I checked out several recipe websites and found a modification to the soup recipe. It stated to omit the green peppers, use chicken broth instead of water, add creole seasoning and then add white wine vinegar. I tried it and now it tasted like the soup they have at the restaurant. However, isn’t the reason I bought the book was to have recipes like they have at the restaurant? If they are different recipes they should have a disclaimer on the book that these are not the actual recipes they use at the restaurant.Everyone who tried the recipe from the book had to tweak the recipe. I don’t want to purchase a cookbook and have to change the recipes. What is the point of that?I have seen where restaurants put recipes that are not from their restaurant on their websites. This is true for the Olive Garden website. I could not wait to make the Olive garden Fettucine Alfredo recipe from their website. It was definitely not the same recipe as the one they use in the restaurant. However, I did not have to pay to get those recipes like I did for this cookbook.I tried the Alfredo sauce. It has no cheese so it came out as milky noodles. I was not impressed by this recipe.Then I thought I would make the Chicken Bryan. First you have to make the grill seasoning recipe which consists of 6 ingredients. Then you have to make the grill baste recipe consisting of 10 ingredients. You have to make a lemon butter sauce recipe which contains 6 ingredients. Then you can prepare the chicken using these recipes and adding 4 more ingredients. They then direct you to use an outdoor grill. After reading the recipe I decided not to make it. I’d rather get it at the restaurant than have to go through all of these steps. However, I did find a great simpler version on the internet. On the other hand, the Melting Pot cookbook has recipes that taste exactly like the ones they have at the restaurant and are easy to make. I love the Melting Pot cookbook!

Very happy to have this cookbook so I can have Carrabba's every week! (The restaurant is a treat for special occasions, I am on a tight budget.😊). Many favorite recipes from the restaurant, and a huge added plus are the advice, tips and techniques included on Italian cooking, grilling and many other things (how to correctly pronounce fagioli, for instance). Some have commented that the recipes aren't 'exactly like the restaurant's versions. Its going to be up to me to achieve the best/closest to Carrabba's restaurant with my skills. I have been in the restaurant business for many years, and I would never publish a cookbook with my secret and signature recipes exactly as I make them. Its my proprietary property and lifeblood of my business! So I am appreciative that Carrabba's published this cookbook as a guideline. Its a lot of goodies and I will enjoy it, as will my family and guests!

This is my daughter's favorite book! It is a sturdy, slightly oversized board book about all the things that hands can do. Each spread features photographs of children engaged in activities familiar for young children (clapping, waving, hugging, playing peekaboo, etc.). The text is straightforward and alternating spreads rhyme. It is a great book for getting toddlers engaged with the story because they can mimic many of the scenes in the text. My one year old wants to read this book again and again.

The photos in this book could be better- they're a bit blurry. But my toddler (17 months old) doesn't seem to care, she loves this book and we read it over and over and over. She likes doing whatever the action on the page is- clapping, singing, waving, peek-a-boo; so it's a fun read.

What a great hands on book for kids to read. This is a perfect book for kids learning to read and for babies and toddlers too! My toddler doesn't usually like to read but she loves this book because of the pictures and the fact that the words MATCH the pictures. She uses her hands alongside the pictures in the book and copies their movements. Great montessori book too.

I wish I had bought this sooner. My 2-year-old and 4-year-old adore this book. The photographs are from the 90s, but the kids don't notice.I love that the book features boys and girls of different ethnicities and skin tones.The rhyming text is easy but not too simple.A very sturdy and well-mannered book.

This covers a lot of the same ground as books such as "The Lights in the Tunnel" but in a more pop-academic style: the prose is all very accessible but the information is extensively footnoted and attributed, and there are numerous references to the work of other academics, mostly but not exclusively economists. For anyone who wonders why we're seeing record-high income inequality and jobless recoveries from recessions, this book will clear up a lot of mysteries.As someone in the technology field myself, I found little to disagree with in the book's treatment of recent and upcoming technological advances, which occupies the first several chapters; the authors have done their homework and have visited enough research labs and company R&D departments to have a very realistic picture of what's just over the horizon. There'll be nothing earth-shattering here for readers who follow technology trends or even who read WIRED magazine, but the book looks at all these things through a somewhat different lens (its impact on human work) than the tech press usually does, and I didn't find myself skimming even when they were covering developments with which I'm already very familiar.For me, the best stretch of the book was chapters 7 through 11, when the focus moves to the effects of recent technological advances on the economy and on the study of economics itself. The authors build a compelling case that income inequality is much more a consequence of the move to a digital economy than of any particular government policy. I found their take on globalization especially interesting: they view it as a big contributor to the rise in income of the world's top earners, but not for the reasons people usually think. I already tended toward this view, but now I'm further convinced that some of the changes we've seen in wealth distribution are primarily due to deep structural changes in the way the world works and won't be undone by tax policy.I found the book less convincing in its final chapters, where the authors suggest steps that can be taken to avert widespread unemployment and social disorder. Their short-term prescriptions are sensible enough (basically: take steps to encourage general economic growth) but, as the authors themselves point out, these won't address the underlying problem, identified by Keynes among others, of technological change outpacing the ability of large segments of the workforce to retrain for new jobs. They offer a few examples of systems that make it easier to find occasional part-time work and suggest that these could be expanded in the future, but as far as I can tell their vision would still leave people mostly idle. They are optimistic about the ability of people to continue finding work but I didn't feel it was justified by the picture their text painted.Still, this is about the best treatment I've found of the question of how technology is likely to affect work over the next couple decades. Highly recommended.

This is a really good book. A reviewer said it may be the best submarine book since 'Hunt for Red October', and that is probably true.The story follows the ballistic submarine Kentucky as it receives an order to launch a nuclear strike and proceeds to travel to its launch area. The submarine has been provided deceptive information by sources on both sides of the ocean, and it is pursued across the ocean by the entire US Pacific Fleet in an effort to abort the launch.Along the way we meet numerous characters, on the Kentucky as well as on other Navy vessels, and various people in the US and other governments. There is exactly the right amount of character development and background information, and there are many well developed sub-plots. The prose is professionally written and easy to read, and the story flows at a proper pace without getting bogged down in useless sidelines. There is plenty of technical information, causing you to believe the story was written by someone who actually knows what he's talking about. The story is salted with many plot twists, and the conclusion is not what you expect. Once you get going, it is hard to put this book down.A few nitpicks: I would like to think that certain intelligence agencies would not in real life choose courses of action depicted in this book (but they might). I imagine Iran would be slightly more upset than they were at the end of the book. And perhaps the author got his inspiration for this story while watching the movie 'Crimson Tide'. But in truth this is a well written story that makes you wonder what could happen (or maybe happens more than we know) in the real world. Read it - you'll be glad you did.

I am very claustrophobic. I can't think of too much worse than being submerged in a submarine for months (or even days) at a time. But I like to read good submarine books. And I think this one was great.The author is a retired Navy Commander who spent over 20 years on submarines in his career so there is definitely a sense of realism in this story.The story is centered around a conspiracy to bomb Iran. Computers are hacked, people are bribed, and one of the U.S. nuclear submarines is sent bogus messages and codes to launch their weapons upon Iran. After they receive the orders, they go silent and the U.S. government must find a way to stop this disaster from happening.There's a long list of characters in the book but I focused more on their job titles and didn't worry about remembering all their names and that worked fine for me.I've seen this favorably compared to THE HUNT FOR RED OCTOBER and I agree. I enjoyed both equally.I highly recommend this tale to those that like military thrillers, action thrillers, books about ocean travel in general or specifically submarines. I don't read too many of these type books but if you do, I believe the author has written four more similar books.

The USS Kentucky is a Trident ballistic missile submarine carrying nuclear warheads on patrol in the Pacific Ocean when it receives a launch order in retaliation to a nuclear attack on Washington D.C. When the administration becomes aware of the strike order terminations orders are sent numerous times but there is no response from the submarine. Who sent the launch order? Will the USS Kentucky carry out its mission? If so, will it be successful? These are the questions to be answered in this superb military/thriller and while they require a certain degree of suspension of disbelief you should to so ( this is fiction after all) and one suspenseful story.The book was written by Rick Campbell, a retired Navy Commander, and is full of terrific actions scenes as well as personal stories about some of the main characters. involved in the story. The author does not get the reader bogged down in to much technical jargon and use of acronyms as so many books of this genre do The action is easy to follow and there is alot the reader will learn about submarines and the decisons that must be made in combat situations. I really enjoyed this novel and look forward to the sequel entitled Empire Rising.

Very nicely designed. Will hold your coins really well and will showcase them to perfection. It has a nice map with state names and perfect slots to fit your coins. Glue is not needed. You can flaunt your collection to guests and strangers alike.Now, why my use of past tense: Well, this item was stolen from my baggage while on an international trip. I guess, the thief would give it a 5-star review too!

I purchased this for my 6 year old who has developed an interest in coins. I figured that a good way for him to get started was to collect the state quarters - they are relatively easy to find, they will teach him about the states, and they are relatable for a 6 year old (he knows what states are and he knows what quarters are). This collector map is perfect for him (he actually hugged me when I gave it to him!). It's visually appealing (which is important to kids), it's sturdy, and it's got great information on it. It also gotten him curious about how money is made and how coins are designed.It has a velcro tab that keeps it closed, so it's easy to open, but stays shut as needed. The quarters go in securely so there is no chance of them falling out. It's got lots of great information on it, like the years of issue and facts about each state. Also, since it's laid out as a map, it's a great way for kids to get familiar with US geography.Only slight downside is that it only has one slot for each quarter, so you have to decide to focus on D or P quarters, or just not care about the mint. My son, the avid consumer, solved this by suggesting we order one more. That way he could collect both. I've agreed since I really like this collectors map and it will keep him saving his quarters for longer.

We haven't. Put ot into action yet so I may comeback and update this. My daughter (5) is old enough for a hobby and wanted one. We narrowed down the choices to coin collecting and stamp collecting. She choose coin collecting wi we are saving it for Christmas. She already loves coins. I feel this will be a great way to teach history, geography, culture, patience and even how to save money.The size and quality (based on the feel of it) are amazing. Its a large book. It feels incredibly sturdy. We already have a ton of quarter (not all) because when we mentioned her choice is hobbies on facebook, our whole family started sending quarter. This might fill up quick. But then we will be doing the penny books. Lol.

I like the recess provided with each coin slot for this purpose.good and concise description of the states and overall a nice item to hold on to and display.nice and sturdy cardboard, but not too heavy.Consnothing significant.. minor points to mention which might be a bit of surprize.size: some people might find the size (even after folding) bit large.Extra slots: the album contains slots for the DC & US territories Quarters released in 2009 in addition to the 50 states.while the 50 state quarters are not that hard to find these 2009 quarters (Guam, US Virgin Islands, Washington DC, Puerto Rico, American Samoa, and Northern Mariana Islands) are extremely hard to find in circulation. so chances are you might end up having your collection incomplete and have empty slots in the album.Summaryvery good product and certainly will recommend this.

If you are have this textbook for your business law class, then you are in luck! This is one of the best and most helpful textbooks that I have ever had the pleasure of using. (I mostly just use my textbooks as a pillow). I actually did enjoy reading this and learning the material. The author breaks down the concepts so they are easy to understand. Even if you hate law, if you put forth the effort to learn this, you should have no trouble at all learning and understanding the concepts. Whether or not the class will be easy is another thing.I enjoyed this book so much that I will not be selling it back to the bookstore (or anyone) because I know that I will use the book for years.

I had to buy this book for a class... I am not in the market to buy law books and read through them for fun. It was very expensive but it was required for the class. As law books go this one isn't bad. The authors actually try to put it in a language that students can understand and they even add in a little quip every once in a while. I am accounting major and this is the only law book I have had to buy but I imagine not very many of them are as easy to understand as this one. (I know none of my accounting books were) I don't know how many people will actually be looking to buy this for recreational reading but if you do I think it will probably be entertaining for you. If you are required to buy it like I was then don't be TO disappointed. I suppose it could be worse...

I somehow got the instructor's edition for this book, maybe I read the product description wrong. Great book if you want to learn something, I honestly felt this book helped me more rather than my teacher.

Paid almost $300 on this book, I have had it for a month and a half and both the front and back of the book cover are coming off. I haven't done any excessive opening and I don't put anything in my book that would cause it to rip the covers off. Very disappointed, should have just bought it somewhere else.

This is a really easy to understand Business Law text. I have very little experience with Business Law, and have had no issues understanding this text. It is a simple read, but has a lot of good, relevant information.

This book does a great job of providing all of the necessary information to cover each topic without becoming redundant. While it is not the most exciting read, it is easy to get through.

I'm a law geek. This book is a great first-law-class. I'm done with the class but I'm keeping the book because I loved the class so much.

I needed this book for a masters class. I decided on the paperback to save money. It was not clear that when you purchase the paperback you are only getting "selected chapters". I received the book and had to turn around and purchase another one because it did not include half the chapters I needed to read for class. The only way to know would be to click on the picture and zoom in to read the small print under the title.
