This book is ok so far. I am reading it because the other reviewers stressed on the fact that it is biased towards Arabs and Muslims. I am a Muslim and what I needed to include here is that there are several key historical facts that are misrepresented and included as a straight fact without explanation that is from one point of view. This misrepresents Islam in a significant way. All the Muslim sects and groups agree that the Prophet had a sermon where he appointed a successor, but not all follow it, so that is something worth mentioning.

I usually love to read historical books that why I always find some new information about history and want to learn something new about different place. This book is one of them this book is base on Middle eastern part of the world I mean it’s about Arabic history that why I purchased this book and after read the entire book I can say that this book is one of the best historical book I ever read. This book provides a brief details about Middle Eastern history its culture people and the most important the holy book Quran. Overall this is one the best historical book about Islam and Middle Eastern people history.

This was a very poorly written book and I feel like I was scammed. The author calls "Jewish" a language instead of Hebrew, and there are many other errors. There are even cheap-looking advertisements in the beginning of the book and in the middle asking you to sign up for their book club or whatever. You can find this information for free online and it may even be more accurate. I will use this to tutor a 6 year old how to read, so I will give it 2 stars.

Good for a first contact with the subject. A serious introduction would be at least ten times more extensive! It is also desirable to have some comparison with the far east and the civilization around the Indus valley.

Good general overview of the history of the area for someone looking to orient to Middle Eastern politics, but it contains a couple of facts I would take issue with (like whether Bethlehem is located in Israeli territory), and also this book could use a once-over by an Editor; several typos/grammar issues. It seems like maybe it was a paper for someone's graduate work.

The author ends the story with a critical question. I think that rocks! Again, not being snob, I wanted to know information on the author and his research. Most historians are like this. It would also entice other historians to read this book. If those things were done it could turn into a 5 star. At the moment, I give it 4 stars.

It's just a glorified pamphlet with NO pictures.Not a single map, or address, or even a index. Although it doesn't need an index because it is so devoid of content.If you think this is going to be like typical "3 days in [city name]" guidebooks you will be as disappointed as I was. There are no suggested tours to do in a day or even three; very few activities even suggested.This book is not only not worth the money, it wasn't worth the time you spent to read this review.

Huge font, much blank space on pages, no pictures, very few specifics. It's a brochure, at best. Save your $ and just look up "Taipei travel" on the internet. You'll find more there than is in this book, by far.

It is an amazing and so helpful tourist guidebook and throughout it I have come to know so many things about this beautiful city Taipei. Actually I have a plan to spend my next vacation at Taipei and for the purpose of keeping a good knowledge about this city’s everything, I picked this travel guidebook two weeks ago. Inside here I got lots of information about Taipei like tourist attraction places, what to avoid while traveling, best place to say, eat & shopping. Here I have found several helpful tips about how to stay safe in that city and save time & money as well. I got some of my question’s answers about that city from here. I am really so impressed and happy by know all these things that what I found from this book. Now I just can’t wait for the vacation and go to Taipei right away.

Very short. The description said 56 pages, but each page turn on my kindle resulted in the page counter going up by 3 or so. I'd say this is about 20 pages long in reality.No maps, guide to the layout & neighborhoods of the city barley mentioned.You'd be much better off going to TripAdvisor and spending 20 minutes browsing around there.

Go Constantine! Go Micah! Oh, my. These two cuties. I just loved this book from start to finish. I now have to go back and read the whole series again.

If you’ve read May Archer’s other books, you already know that she’s skilled in the art of world creation and writes quirky and lovable characters. While The Secret is not the end of the Love in O’Leary series (I hope!), this installment feels like a culmination of all of her hard work. She masterfully weaves the storylines of the main characters from each book preceeding The Secret into the plot really giving readers a deeper feel for the time and place in which Micah and Constantine’s love story is happening.The age difference and business competition that readers are introduced to at the start sets up a delicious tension between the two men. To the citizens of O’Leary who don’t bother to look deeper, Constantine is a loud, sometimes brash, jokester that is still viewed as the troubled teenager that he was. But Micah, inspired by shared expereriences and expectations, dares to delve deeper. He realizes that, despite his sassy outer shell, Constantine is an old sould carrying around decades old guilt and burdens.While reading this book I could have sworn that Archer had based Constantine’s character on an atrological summary of a natural Gemini. She didn’t, but he seamlessly moves throughout different groups in O’Leary charming them all. But this compex man hides his true self until Micah is willing to put in the work required to break through his walls.Micah, on the other hand, is organized and hard working to a fault. He bears the responsibilities of an oldest sibling and then some, always taking care of other before worrying about following his own heart. You can’t help but fall for him as he falls for Constantine.The growing love between these two men is masterfully paced, building tension and allowing readers to feel as though they have jumped on the ride to a HEA with Micah and Con. The sex scenes are well written and super hot. And all the while, May Archer’s signature humor graces every page leaving you with sweet smiles, and sometimes laughing out loud in the middle of the night trying not to wake your spouse.If you’re starting this one at bedtime, plan to pull an all-nighter and make some strong coffee the next morning. I started it just before bed and ended up staying up until three o’clock in the morning. I only stopped because I quite literally couldn’t keep my eyes open any longer. And I’m pretty sure Micah and Con still joined me in my dreams afterward.This book will stay with you long after you close it, add it to your shelf ASAP.

So I was a little disappointed when I saw this book would be about Constantine and Micah because I just really, really need Parker and Jamie's story. However, I probably owe the author an apology for doubting her because I love this story so much.Constantine has been such a delight as a side character in the other O'Leary books, and he deserves his own story. It was so interesting to see his side of everything, and how he really felt compared to how he was portrayed through other's eyes. I especially loved how he viewed Julian and their roles in the family compared to how Julian felt about those things in his story. Seems like the boys have some communicating to work on.Micah was an unexpected joy. He's do steady and just perfect for Constantine. He really just adores him, and even if he goes about it badly, he just constantly wants to do good for Constantine in a way that almost had me in tears.Really just another amazing addition to the series, and I absolutely adore it. (But really, can Jamie and Parker come next pleeeease?)

This is the fourth book in the Love in O'Leary series and even though I thought all of the others were great, this one is the best. Micah is new to the O'Leary community but he is from a nearby town and in this book we are introduced to some of his close knit family (perhaps someone from his family will make it into future books?-hint, hint). Because Micah is new he is not really clued in to Constantine's place in the community of O'Leary. MIcah sees Constantine as a flighty young man who is not responsible. But it turns out that Constantine has been living for years with the reputation as a mistake-prone young man and he finds it impossible to change the views of the town, his family, and particularly his mother. The relationship that develops between the older Micah and Con is beautifully written. As Micah puts his trust in Con to help him with his business and as Con realizes that perhaps he can have a say in the family business or create a new business for himself, the two men become closer. It is nice to see that Con's sunny personality begins to rub off on Micah and Micah's tutoring helps Con learn more about how to run a business. I do recommend reading the other books in the series first since the timelines for the books all fit together and some of the events mentioned in this book occurred in the earlier books. But since all of the are great and set in lovely O'Leary, you will want to read them all. I voluntarily reviewed an Advanced Reader Copy of this book.

I will admit it took me a while to get into the books and the characters. I suspect it was not because they were not like able, but was because I had not read the other books in this series. After finishing it, I did some homework and learned many of the characters were in previous books. Now having said that once they drew me in I was hooked on the September/December romance of Constantine and Michah. It is a great love story with a slow to build level of hotness, and a feel good story. It has enough twist to keep you entertained and wanting to see how things resolved themselves. I love also the other characters (and trust me I will read the other books in the series). A sweet fun read that you will love.

This book is ok. I bought it for one purpose and got what I wanted. I play pool and almost every one plays a little different. Some of her things are not like mine but I have not written a book. I also do not have the titles she does but for my age (73) and being in a wheelchair I do have a few trophies. I also can't practice 6 hours a day. I can say this, every time she is on TV I watch her. She is a great player and a wonderful person. A person can't go wrong following her instructions.

This is a great reference book for both amateur and professional billiard players. It's very informative and you learn a lot just from one chapter. If you can buy it used, then you have found a true gem.

Most of these are written by men so it's been nice reading from the female pro end of things. Very helpful information. Written in an entertaining as well as informative way.
